The European Association of Quality and Safety in General Practice/Family Medicine (EQuiP) wants to alert the public and the policy makers in Europe about the growing problem of short and long term unavailable medication in many European countries and the serious consequences for the quality of care and especially for patient safety.
We urge pharmaceutical companies, policy makers and politicians in Europe to take their responsibility and start immediate action to put an end to this unacceptable and growing problem.
