It is our pleasure to invite you to the 3rd International Meeting on "Well-being and Performance in Clinical Practice".

Following the success of our previous meetings (May 2014 & May 2016) this meeting will bring together experts from diverse disciplinary backgrounds in order to present and discuss innovative ways of linking health professional well being to patient safety and quality of care.

The conference will explore how burnout and well-being are related to different aspects of quality of care and patient safety, in terms of clinical decision making, communication in clinical practice, medical errors, quality of care, civility at workplace and patient neglect.

The conference will take place on 9 – 13 May 2018, in the Olympus Riviera, Pieria, Greece.

The deadline for abstract submission is July 15, 2017.

WELLMED Young Researchers in Action is organizing an Applied Research Seminar for early career scientists, on Wednesday 9 May, 2018, prior to the opening of the WELLMED 3 conference.

We are very excited to introduce the new group of WELLMED Young Researchers in Action, whose aim is to support early-career scientists by promoting international research collaborations, organize seminars with specific topics of interest, and provide a platform for participants to present research in progress and receive feedback from our WELLMED network experts.


Master class: "How to Design, Develop and Evaluate Healthy Work-Places in Healthcare"

Following the success of the previous master class, this year's Master Class by Christina Maslach will focus on the principles and techniques of designing, and evaluating healthy work places.

Using the Areas of Work-Life Model participants will learn how to enhance engagement and resilience in healthcare work places. The master class will take place on 9 May, 2018, prior to the opening of the WELLMED 3 conference.
